The Halesowen u3a Discussion Group meets once a month at 12.30 on a Wednesday in the Small Meeting Hall at Hasbury Methodist Church.

The topic for discourse will have already been decided upon by the group.

We research and prepare for discussions beforehand. Then at meetings we take it in turns to listen to each other's point of view before commenting. Each discussion goes wherever the whole group wishes.

Subjects for deliberation can range from topical to historic to economic, from controversial to light hearted, from newsworthy to obscure.

We take no notes during discussions. At the end of each meeting the following month's subject is agreed upon by the group.

We are a friendly, welcoming group. Members can can attend and miss meetings as their commitments allow.
