Welcome to the group page for our newest walking group, which fits neatly between our Amblers and Meanderers walking groups.
We offer easy; leisurely, level walking (or occasional slight gradient) with hopefully a cafe/pub included at the end.
The route will be up to two miles, and initially we will walk once per month, normally on the last Friday in the month.
It is intended that this will be a sociable group, with the chance to relax afterwards at a nearby cafe or pub, where possible.

In November we walked in West Smethwick park. It was a lovely day.
Our October 2025 walk was a delightful stroll through Kingsford Country Park, led by Ann. The weather was kind to us, the threatened rain didn't appear until the afternoon (we finished walking around noon), and the trees were a lovely mix of Autumn colours from green through yellow to brown.
It was so lovely to see you all at Uffmoor Woods (May 2025) and felt we were very lucky to have such a beautiful display of bluebells and wild garlic - just as I'd ordered!!! On the left is one of the photos taken by Mark - thank you Mark.
