COFFEE AND CAKE

Two of the Day Trippers team have introduced the idea of members meeting monthly at a local café, to sit and chat for a couple of hours, whilst enjoying Tea, Coffee, etc and possibly a piece of cake (or two!).

Initially, they have been meeting at Cheswicks, behind Sainsbury’s in Blackheath once per month on a Friday afternoon.

In the school summer holidays, the group meets twice per month.

The idea has been successful, and so this is now operating as a separate group in its own right. Sometimes a few group members will organise non-u3a events between them, for example theatre or cinema visits.
